Ephemera relating to the Dupont Heir PAUL B. BELIN

1969 Paul B. Belin, born July 26, 1875 - died suddenly on February 27, 1930 at the age of 54, of surgical complications. He was a Dupont heir, as well as being the President and General Manager of The Scranton Lace Curtain Company. Items include *Two 8x10" photographs, one marked as being from the Summer of 1969 - Paul Belin, "The Pasture" Carbindale Rd., Waverly, PA. 717 586 7221. The other being a grouping of four people at an art exhibition. *A silk covered book of matches reading "Hugh Shannon November 22, 1969. Mr. Herbert Brolin Table No. 1. *An Invitation from Mr. Paul B. Belin & Mr. Robert L. Pierce to attend a dinner and evening with Hugh Shannon [Irish musician] at the Scranton Club on Nov. 22. *A news article dated Nov. 25, 1969 referencing the dinner and ensuing dance party. *A menu from that evening. *Another invitation to be held at the Glen Oak Country Club. All housed in a protective mylar sleeve.The Belin Family were great contributors to the development of the town of Waverly in Pennsylvania.
