Full orange cloth, gold & copper foil titles on spine, gold foil decoration on front board, x, 374 pp, 16 ff color photo plates, b & w photos & drawings throughout, bibliography, index. Traces of what looks like varnish (possibly from a freshly finished bookshelf) on bottom edge of pages for about 1 cm in from fore-edge and on bottom edges of boards, else fine. DJ has wear, small tears & chips to spine ends and top edge of rear panel; in Brodart archival cover. Embroidery "is rather like the word 'dog.' Just as there are poodles, German shepherds and dachshunds, so there are many 'breeds' of embroidery, all beautiful in their traditional sense, and excitingly different when worked with contemporary freedom in new combinations of color and stitch." Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: In most cases, shipping via Biblio's consolidated shipping program via Asendia is the cheapest option on orders up to 5 lbs.
