The text is illustrated with copious black-and-white photographs from the life of Ernest Hemingway. Black coloured boards with silver writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and slight rubbing to the book corners. Shelfwear to the lower book edges. Dust marks to the top page edge. Photographic dustwrapper, again being a portrait photograph of Ernest Hemingway, against a black background with white writing on the front panel and spine. Dustwrapper is slightly rubbed and faded. The corners of the dustwrapper also slightly rubbed. The white of the fold over panels has become a little yellow. Both a photographic and text biography of one of the 20th century's literary giants -- Ernest Hemingway. This is the First USA Edition. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
