Sobre este artículo
Harry S. Dube, , 1953; "8 1/2" x 11"; 76 pages; illustrated. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Magazine and Program for 1953, with three-page photo-illustrated lead story by Ernest Hemingway describing his fascination with the circus since childhood and giving his impressions of each of the acts scheduled for the upcoming 1954 Ringling season. Unique for a glimpse of Hemingway in a buoyant mood. Full page Hemingway portrait photo on the facing page, followed by shots posed with a pair of performing bears, and with an elephant raised on its hind legs as the author poses precariously beneath its gigantic foot. Introduction by long time friend John Ringling North thanking Hemingway for his contribution, and urging the reader to buy the newly released novel "The Old Man And The Sea." Fine condition, clean, crisp, bright, no chips, tears, or creases. A beautiful copy.
