Four sections of plates with photographs of Hemingway's life, family, friends, places, events. Tight & solid, square with sharp corners. Internals very clean and completely free from any markings. The first author to separate Hemingway the man and the artist from the myths about him. Baker drew upon sources unavailable until that time--Hemingway's own diaries, letters, and unpublished works, and the personal testimony of artists and writers, sportsmen and soldiers--all the men and women who played a part in his career. A nice BCE edition. 697 pages with Sources and Notes, Debts and Credits, and Index. 1.6 x 6.25 x 9.5 inches. Priority and International shipping may require extra postage.
