Contemporary full calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, title label to second panel, volume in blind to third, blind roll to edges of covers. Rubbed to extremities, minor chipping to end caps, slight splitting to joints but holding well, corners bumped and rubbed. Internally lightly browned, occasional hint of foxing, but generally fairly clean. Armorial bookplate of John Clarke Stoughton to front pastedown. First published in 1783 in a single volume, now 'revised, corrected, and enlarged'. ESTC T72503; Maxwell and Maxwell, page 489. Second Edition. Hardback. Good. 8vo.
