Sobre este artículo

London: George G. Harrap and Company. Good with no dust jacket; Spine cracked.. 1926. Second Printing. Hardcover. Decorative brown cloth binding with gilt lettering and botanical border on front boards. Preface by W. M. , presumed to be Meynell's husband Wilfrid Meynell, who was also her editorial and publishing partner for several different magazines, including The Pen, The Weekly Register and Merry England. Both Meynells were Catholics and social activists, and Alice was strongly in support of women's voting rights. The essays compiled in the present volume were culled from various publications, but all concern women, from literary analyses of Mary Wollstonecraft's letters, and the works of the Brontes and Jane Austen, to short pieces on women's equality and women's roles in history. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 76 pages .
