Edited by Mrs Shelley. (London: Edward Moxon: 1840) First Edition In Two Volumes. Red cloth boards blocked decoratively in blind on front and rear pp. xxxii, 320 and viii, 360. All edges uncut. First Edition. An owner's name on each fixed front endpaper. In the essay 'Defence of Poetry' the previous owner, an academic then probably a student, has made marks in biro (ie pen) to facilitate his study, but they are generally thin and not garish. Otherwise textually in very good. order but both volumes lack the backstrip and 3 boards are consequently detached.
