A clean tight copy; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket lightly soiled with a few nicks & creases to edge and minor loss to corners and head of spine. A Near Fine copy in Good jacket. Essays on mysticism theory and practice and lives of mystics from pagan Plotinus up to date. Most previously published elsewhere, though revised and/or rewritten for this volume. Scarce, particularly in jacket.
