Illustrator: Etchings. the top and bottom external corners of the rear board have been rubbed/bumped and the card underneath is visible. Suggestion of offset tanning and foxing to the front and rear ends pages. Internally clean. With foreword, list of illustrations, and introduction, the book gives a brief outline to the development of etching and its practical side, and the great etchers and their work, and considers drypoint, aquatint and soft ground etchings as well as printing, mounting and the care of print. The last part of the book is a bibliography of works on etching and etchers. Second Impression. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. XVI, 2 of only 3 pages, + advertisements.
