Sobre este artículo

Ithaca, New York: Cornell University Press, 1979. Third printing. Hardcover. VG- (No dj; only slightly aged overall; former owner name and year on first page, otherwise clean.). Reddish cloth, gilt letters on spine, 320 pp., 147 BW illus. and figures. "Despite the enormous gaps in our knowledge, we know enough to see that each Etruscan city enjoyed an individual life and development of its own, and an attempt may be made to bring together in outline some of this scattered knowledge, and to look at the separate cities in their historical and topographical setting. But first we will look briefly at the more primitive cultures of the land in which Etruscan civilization developed, and later at Etruscan Rome and the stages by which the cities were absorbed into Rome's ambit and gradually became Romanized." (preface) Please note that this is an original printed copy, and not an e-book, paperback reprint, or print-on-demand title.
