George Washington’s sudd en sudden death inspired mourning throughout the US and this is o ne of numerous eulogies published that year. William Jackson foug ht in the American Revolution and was assigned to Washington's st aff for a period of time. In 1796 Washington appointed him Collec tor of the Port of Philadelphia. Condition: Good; probably disbou nd from another volume; lightly foxed throughout; spotting to tit le page; pages are otherwise clean and solid. .
