Sobre este artículo
London: Penguin, 1995. Soft cover. Very Good. Nice bright and clean copy of James' light hearted look at debonair europeans let loose amongst their puritan 'new-world' cousins. Clean and tight. Very good condition.
Sinopsis
The Europeans concerns an expatriate American, Eugenia, and her artist brother, Felix Young. Eugenia is the morganatic wife of a German prince, but she is to be repudiated in favor of a state marriage; thus she leaves for Boston to make an appropriate match of her own.
Reseñas
El Aug 26 2014, un lector dijo:
I enjoyed this book immensely. It blended the old and new world creatively. It's philosophical underpinnings were interesting. It was not a bestseller at the time, moreover, it probably is now. I like books that use the English Language in it's old form.
