Small folios. Each volume with color illustrations. All three are fine in very good glassine jackets with a few small tears. The box is near fine with a few smudges. Edited by Jean Hersholt, this set is Signed by Hersholt and Henry C. Pitz. The set consists of the following three separate works:
*The Story of Jack and the Beanstalk*. Re-told by Jean Hersholt and illustrated by Malcolm Cameron; *The Story of What Happened to Hansel and Gretel*. As told by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Translated by P.H. Muir. Illustrated and Signed by Henry C. Pitz; *The Whimsical History of Bluebeard* By Charles Perrault. Translated from the French by Arthur Quiller-Couch and illustrated by Hans Bendix. Signed by Hersholt. (Note: there is a tear to the top right corner of the glassine jacket). A handsome set.
