Muir and illustrated by Sylvain Sauvage. 43, [3] p.: full-page and in-text color illustrations; 31 cm. Red cloth with silver spine title; black decoration on boards. Red slipcase with printed brown spine label. This is number 1022 of a limited edition of 2,500 copies printed for the Limited Editions Club. Ali Baba was printed at the Curwen Press and signed by the illustrator, Edward Ardizzone; The Ugly Duckling was signed by the translator, Jean Hersholt, and the illustrator, Everett Gee Jackson. A heavy set; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. Books are in very Good+-Near Fine Condition: Ali Baba spine is sunned and cover is lightly soiled; otherwise, all volumes are clean and bright. Slipcase is in Fair+ Condition: separated along one joint; some loss of paper over other joint; old clear tape repairs at upper corners; lightly soiled.
