Sobre este artículo
London: William Tegg , 1847 Three Volume set.A new edtion. Book Volumes 1 and 2 are only dated in the prefaces as 1826 and 1827, but Book Vol.3 is dated 1847 in publication details, and these are a uniform set so it is likely that all three date from 1847. HB. Three volumes complete. Full leather with gilt titles on red and black leather panels to spine, with gilt decorations and borders. All page edges and endpapers marbled. A handsomely bound set that belonged to William Thomas, Baron Bolton, with his armorial bookplates inside front covers, and inscribed by him as Bolton to margins of title pages. Large octavos, 1719pp, 1711pp & 887pp. With a total of 436 b&w engravings in text. A Very Good set overall, the pages largely very clean (with a little spotting to ends and a soot stain to lower gutters in vol.2.) and the covers bright and clean with some light edge rubbing to the leather. Note: Hone's Year Book which was printed later (1849) and forms a uniform set listed separately by this seller. . Pictures available, A Very Nice set
