The lower part of the spine has the words "Evie Hone" handwritten on it. Binding sound. This book was deacessioned from the library of the art dealer Offer Waterman and Co. and bears a discreet circular blindstamp hand-numbered in the centre to the lower right of the half-title.63pp. 2 colour plates printed onto translucent paper, together with 4 further b/w plates and a b/w frontispiece. This book was published especially for the Evie Hone exhibition in Dublin in 1958. It is a reprint of part of "A Tribute to Evie Hone and Mainie Jellett" which was published in 1957. It includes a collection of essays about Hone by her contemporaries, including John Piper, Derek Hill, and the Hon.Edward Sackville-West. Scarce..
