NY: Random House, (1987).. Uncorrected proof.. 211 pp. Near fine in printed yellow wrappers. Clark's copy. A few red penciled corrections to fore- and end matter, one correction to text. Post-it to title page, listing, in Clark's holograph, eight more corrections. SIGNED by Clark on the cover and half-title page, where he has additionally penned his poem of some 130 words,'The Wait.' TOGETHER WITH the publisher's mock-ups for the artwork for half-title, title page, and chapter heads, all eventually used in the finished book. Each 11 x 14 in (approx) with several sheets to a work-up. TOGETHER WITH a copy of the finished book, fine in fine dust jacket and SIGNED by Clark. For the collection:
