First edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by William Morrow, 2020. Historical fiction set in the 1840's. Based on true events, the story of Evangeline, sent away from London against her will to Tasmania. During the long sea voyage, pregnant and alone, she strikes up a friendship with Hazel, a girl just a little older than herself. Together they will face the hardships of the new and challenging land.
This is the first edition hardcover, with dust jacket. The dust jacket is intact, and is not price clipped. The jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. The book is 371 pages, 6-1/2" X 9-1/4". No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not worn or bumped. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard. Binding is tight and square.
Edges of the text block are clean. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not stock photos.
