Spine sunned, edgewear, name stamp, minor separation between title page and frontispiece, a few pencil marks; very good. Peel 2167: "While most of the text describes the Mackenzie River valley, there is valuable information on the lower Saskatchewan Valley, and on southern Alberta." Includes travel narratives, chapters on musk-ox hunting, ethnological materials, myths, natural history.
