Dennis Dobson, London, 1955. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Fair. Illustrator: Charles Evans. the dustjacket which is now protected, has numerous short tears on the top of the rear panel, and a large tear at the bottom left of the front panel. Traces of foxing, and the rear panel has been suntanned across the top and right-hand side. Internally clean, with only the 1st 3 or 4 leaves showing signs of rough handling. Here is a pictorial account of the greatest adventure of that time – the successful Everest expedition. It is by the Deputy leader of the expedition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 124 pages.
