Amsterdam: Zacheray Chatelain, 1728. hardcover. very good(+). 5 parts in 2 volumes. Ornately engraved allegorical frontispiece, first and third titles printed in red and black, charming copper engraved illustrations heading each fable by Henrik Cause, scattered tail pieces, added footnotes. An additional 5 fables were added comprising part 5. 24mo, full original brown calf, spines chipped and one spine label partially missing. Amsterdam: Zacheray Chatelain, 1727-1728. Occasional foxing but an amazingly clean tight copy.<br/><br/>
