With fifty fables to Part One, and sixteen fables to Part Two. With notes by William Coxe. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper, 'M. Bevan Evans. Jan 1928'. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the boards. A few light marks to the spine. A little bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
