This RARE 88 page oversized book (9" x 11", may require additional postage) gives us a one page description, and a beautiful full-page black and white photo (taken by PHOTOGRAPHER AND PIANIST, LAELIA GOEHR), of each of 44 species of dog. Includes ORIGINAL UNCLIPPED DUST JACKET. Published in London in 1961, FACES has not been reprinted since the early 60's, and is a true COLLECTOR'S ITEM. First edition thus, First printing thus. , Overall book is AS NEW. Both the reverse covers and the first fep are colored chartreuse, while the cover is brown buckram boards with spare particulars and design in gold gilt. The unclipped dust jacket (a reproduction of 2 black and white photos (one front, one back) of the lower parts of dogs, with particulars in white on black) = Very Good Plus: edges of dj photos are beginning to rub away from the paper, three 1/4" rips on the top edge, else complete and clear.
