Sobre este artículo
Oxford: Oxford Univ. Press, 1932. First edition. Hardcover. Orig. beige cloth and brown boards. Near fine. Unpaginated. 28 x 23 cm. Title page printed in red and black. List of Facsimiles. Alphabetical Index of Printers. The monograph indicates the gradual predominance of Antwerp and the Low Countries over France as a centre of type production. The period also saw the rise of the jobbing printer, one of whom, Nicholas Hill, Mr. Isaac believes, did far more work than he has been credited with -- the only clue to the actual printer being the type. Facsimiles and Illustrations issued by the Bibliographical Society. Nos. II-III. Interior contents clean and bright.
