"FAHAMENON is a catalogue of work by Atlanta-based artist Fahamu Pecou. Designed like a high-end pop-culture magazine, FAHAMENON features articles and "ads" along with color plates of Pecous NEOPOP series. It was published in a small edition as part of his gallery show, "Something Like a Fahamenon," at Vaknin Gallery in Atlanta in June 7 - August 15, 2008. to quote Pecou: "What is Fahamenon? Fahamenon is a new concept, Im thinking. Its the artist book meets a catalogue meets pop-culture magazine. So the whole idea was that it would be kind of a different work but its presented as a magazine that features original works in the form of ads."
