Ventura: John Anthony Miller Studio, 2018. Fahrenheit 451 facsimile dust jacket for the 1967 "black edition" A facsimile dust jacket for the 1967 "black first edition" published by Simon and Schuster of New York. Subsequent printings also utilized the same black dust jacket design. The book will be black and have the spine in gold. There also was a book club edition issued in this same format but not with the gold spine and did not have the price on the jacket flap. This facsimile dust jacket could be used for that edition, but will have to be re-sized. If so, please let us know. As always, the dust jacket will have a signed label by artist-restorer John Anthony Miller affixed to the verso of the jacket stating that it is a facsimile jacket. This jacket comes trimmed, enclosed in Mylar, folded and ready to put on to your copy of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.

Many famous authors and celebrities signed there and was a top favorite bookshop of Ray Bradbury's. We specialize used and rare books, unusual material and signed books with an emphasis on the unique, sci fi and fantasy, first editions, scientific and medical. We also have a nice selection of high quality facsimile dust jackets done etching and engraving artist John Anthony Miller (all jackets are marked tastefully that they are facsimile jackets, printed on high quality non acidic paper using the finest inks that will last a lifetime with care). Phantom Bookshop relocated in 2000 as an internet business.
