Photograph of Harrison as young man neatly pasted to the front pastedown (high quality black/white glossy, 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches). Book very good plus, very near fine (slight edgewear; book has been carefully read; pages clean, with no markings other than Harrison's signature; binding tight and square). Dark red cloth-covered boards, gilt spine lettering (bright), 9 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches, 502 pp., bibliography, index, numerous figures and tables. Dustcover about good minus (rare in any condition), now in archival mylar jacket.
