On page xii of the Preface of this unique copy, among people the author thanks, special mention is made to Jxxxxx Hxxxxx for opening "her home to me whenever I was in Atlanta . . . . " The author has made a short inscription to that friend on the half title page "with love and gratitude" and has made a star in the margin beside her name in the Preface.
