Edition unknown, circa 1950, 10 only of 12 miniature volumes approximately 80 x 53 mm, 3¼ x 2 inches, stiff card covers in various colours, each one illustrated in colour, uniform colour illustrated endpapers with a Belongs To box inside front covers, a few coloured illustrations in the text, pagination varies from 16 to 33 and 42 and 48 in the 2 volume sets. Some volumes show slight rubbing to spine or hinges, tiny scrape to title on The Emperor's New Clothes (see image), a touch of rubbing to a few board corners, very small closed tear to front endpaper of The Emperor's New Clothes, no inscriptions, slight fading to the spine of The Flying Trunk. 10 (of 12) very good copies, lacking original presentation box. The titles: The Tinder Box, The Emperor's New Clothes, Thumbelisa (2 volumes), The Flying Trunk, The Shepherdess and The Chimney Sweep, The Little Swineherd, The Little Match Girl, The Little Fir Tree (2 volumes), lacking The Real Princess and Numbskull Jack. Some sets have a 2 volume set of The Ugly Duckling instead of the 2 volume The Fir Tree. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE, FURTHER IMAGES ON REQUEST. POSTAGE AT COST.
