Sobre este artículo

London: Heinemann, 1970. First Edition - British. Signed by the author Clifford Irving on the title page beneath his printed name which is crossed out and signed and inscribed by him on the half-title: “June 1982, To Robert old pal, lost & found - Cliff”. Illustrated in color and black & white. Very good plus copy with a hint of handling and some minor foxing to the edges in a lightly handled and dust soiled dust jacket with some chips and tears. The fascinating story of the charismatic con-man, Elmyr de Hory, and how he managed to paint and market over a thousand brilliantly forged major art works of some of the most well-known twentieth century artists, including Modigliani, Matisse, Derain, Mondrian, Dufy, etc..
