Sobre este artículo

London & New York: Harper & Bros, 1904. Michael Davitt (1846-1906) founded, with Parnell, the Irish National Land League. As a child he had suffered eviction and lost his arm in an industrial accident; he joined the Fenians and the Republican Brotherhood, resulting in seven years of penal servitude. Copies of Davitt's works are uncommon to scarce. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Deep green cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover; gilt top edge, deckled others. This is the freshest copy Quercus has seen. Clean text; 751 pages, indexed. Previous-owner signature on the FFEP ("P. O'Briain"), and a more extensive inscription on the Title Page. Just a hint of bumping. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
