A comforting copy of this reprint of the iconic 'Famille Fenouillard' (one of the very first bande dessinee). Red cloth covered boards that are much marked by hand, shelving and storage. They have wear about the edges, corners, faces. The gilt titling is faded. The boards are sure and sound. The contents are genial, mild-mannered. The colours are amicable, the papertrims are tanned, the pages are firm, clean, clear, welcoming, charming.
