THIS IS THE VINTAGE 1935 PRINTING OF THE HARDCOVER (WITHOUT DUSTJACKET), NOT A MORE RECENT PRINTING OR EDITION. Condition of binding: Light bump to extremity of first cover; expected light age toning, shelf wear and light wear to ends of backstrip (spine). Several pages with creases. Edges lightly age toned. Else overall book is Very Good. Vintage book kept in temperature-controlled room. Free of the smell of smoke from a cigarette or cigar smoker. This thick volume contains the complete books of Mark Twain: Life on the Mississippi, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Other stories, each one complete in itself, are taken from separate volumes of the complete set, such as Pudd'nhead Wilson, Tom Sawyer Abroad, The Jumping Frog, and many others. The are also extracts included, such as Baker's Bluejay Yarn from A Tramp Abroad, and fourteen selected chapters from volumes one and two of The Gilded Age.
