Staple bound, yellow and blue wraps with b&w illustrations. Table of contents is paginated until 124pp but leaves are unpaginated. Some color illustrations. Previous owners' names written on title page and on the inside of the rear wrap. Wraps have moderate creasing and soiling. Good condition.
APA (Amateur Press Association) L was patterned directly from the APA F group in New York with the intention as being a vehicle of communication between publishing and non-publishing members of the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society (LASFS). This issue contains favorite illustrations, letters, reviews, musings and science fiction and fantasy tales from previous issues. Some of the authors in this issue include John Trimble, Bruce Pelz, Betty Knight, Phil Castora, Bill Blackbeard, Len Bailes, and illustrators include Jack Harkness, Don Simpson, William Rotsler, Dian Pelz, Arthur Thompson, and Bjo Trimble.
Copies of APA L found at the University of Kansas and the National Library of Australia.
