Far From Cibola by Paul Horgan with a note by the author Introduction by Max Westbrook A lyrical novel that welds ancient mystery with the actual lives of workaday people, Far From Cibola is set in Roswell, New Mexico during the Great Depression. In his retrospective note on the composition of the novel, Horgan himself calls it "a poem with as many subjects as it has characters."
