Gray-green publishers cloth, titles and illustrations in black on the cover and spine: back board minimally indented, a few pencil annotations, otherwise crisp and square with bright leaves. In the gray-green dust jacket repeating the covers with price 6/- on the spine and publishers advertising on the back panel: short closed tears at the hinges and corners, a closed scar near the author's name on the spine. Juan de Fuca, Bering, Cook, Meares, Quadra and Vancouver: a lively survey of Pacific exploration in a very well-preserved first edition. SMITH 2413.

Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.

All books are packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. Every book is professionally packaged in a heavy cardboard box and shipped via US Postal Service, fully insured. Shipping rates are $3.50 per book; an additional $1 for every book thereafter. Sets and oversized volumes might require additional postage – indication of such will be noted in the book description. Those orders ship at cost. Other shipping modes are available per arrangement. Institutions will be billed per requirements.
