Sobre este artículo

London: Simms and M'Intyre, 1848. The Irish writer William Carleton (1794-1869) was one of the most popular authors of the 19th Century, and his works were published many times by various publishers (the exact publication sequence is problematic). This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition Thus, with an introduction "written for this edition." Uncommon to scarce. Blue marbled paper-covered boards with leather spine and tips. Titling and rules in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 296 pages, lightly tanned. There is a previous-owner signature on the front paste-down that appears contemporary. A later owner has added his bookplate and written his name and address (1933) on the FFEP. Rubbed at the margins. A solid copy.. First Ediution Thus. Quarter-Bound. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
