Orange cloth-covered boards, gilt title on black panel on spine. 8vo. Slightly soiled along top board edge, corners very lightly rubbed. Small stain on text block top edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Laminated pictorial dust jacket with light chipping along top edge, not price clipped. Farming in East Anglia - before large scale use of machines was introduced - was at the very centre of society and tells how it supported and bound people of the village together into a community. With delightfully drawing and black and white plates throughout the volume.
