Octavo, first edition with Scribner 'A' and seal on copyright page, pp. 216, navy cloth boards with yellow lettering on spine and front, image of the moon on front. Illustrated by Clifford Geary. See Anatomy of Wonder, 5-61. Condition of this book: Jacket chipped at spine ends and tips, with a dampstain in the moon area on the front panel, not obtrusive until you see the reverse side, which picked up some of the blue tinting of the front board. Likewise the blue board has a small lightened area where the tint was picked up by the jacket. Still, an attractive copy. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
