Bound in red quarter-cloth with olive boards; woodcut title block in black on top board; spine lettered in gold. Light rubbing to edges of boards from shelfwear. Dust jacket age-toned, more pronounced at extremities; spine ever-so faintly sunned, noticeable only upon the closest scrutiny; small spot of light soiling on rear panel near spine. Else jacket with only light edgewear; small 1" closed tear at head of front panel. Crisp in protective mylar. An absolutely beautiful alphabet book, illustrated with full-page woodcut plates in black, lettering in deep-red. Printed and bound by Book Press (Brattleboro).
