Gilt top foredges. Extensively illustrated in black and white throughout as well as with 16 color plates. Complete with 4 folding maps in the pockets of volume 1. Maps are in nice shape, but showing some toning and a few tiny holes at the folds in some cases. Title page of volume one is detached but present. Nice set.
