Dark green cloth with beveled edges, each volume with elaborate illustrations in gilt and silver on the cover and spine. All edges gilt, color plate, photographs, illustrations, folding color map, index. Some wear at the edges and corners, and the map repaired with archival tissue. In mylar wrappers, the set is bright and the folding map clean. Locale:. (Arctic/Polar, Expeditions--Polar, Exploration--Arctic, Norwegian Polar Expedition 1893-1896).
