With thirty four colour illustrations on plates between pages 164 and 165, and 388 and 389. Collated, complete. Includes four maps before the introduction, and double page spread maps to the pastedowns and endpapers. This is the second printing of the new edition. In the original publisher's cloth binding and slipcase. The slipcase is in fine condition, with only some very slight bumping to the extremities. The binding is in fine condition. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
