Sobre este artículo
New York, New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1953. First Edition Later Printing . Hardcover. Near Fine/Fair. Book 11 of 23 in the original series published 1948-1966 in the popular YA boys' series featuring freshman sports hero, Chip Hilton, & his understanding coach, Hank Rockwell, both based on the author's real life & experiences. Reissued in the late 1990s, these originals are highly collectible. First published in 1953, this is a slightly later printing (listing to book #15 in front matter & to self on rear DJ. Hardcover 12mo (5" x 7.5") has brown tweed cloth-covered boards stamped with picture of baseball equipment on front/lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: very clean & bright, binding strong & straight, hinges intact, pages creamy white with mild tanning to edges, else unmarked.Very mild rubbing to extremities & corner bumping are only flaws. The clipped DJ is downgraded to Fair due to fairly heavy edgewear, including significant rubbing & chipping, a large chip missing from back cover, sticker pull at lower spine. Very slight spine fade.
