Sobre este artículo

London: London Chatto & Windus/Phoenix Library, 1951. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6?" - 7?" tall. Type: Hardback London Chatto & Windus/Phoenix Library 1951 Reprint Green hardback textured full cloth cover in Very Good Condition with like Dust Jacket. Whisper of wear to spine head and heel. Tight and solid sewn binding. Pages lightly toned, quite clean, completely unmarked. Nine stories comprise "Fiery Particles", four set in peacetime England, Ireland and Australia; the rest concerned with the first World War; all display the author's unequalled sense of irony, pathos, and style. C. E. Montague was a distinguished novelist, essayist and critic, born in1867. He enlisted in the Army in 1914-at the age of 46- and his stories- Fiery Particles, Disenchantment and Rough Justice--were the fruits of this experience. 233 pages. 7.5 x 4.8 inches. 1951, London Chatto & Windus/Phoenix Library.
