Good/No Dust Jacket. 400 g; (8), 9-286, (2) pages in original blue cloth covered boards, with the publisher's colophon blind stamped centre to the rear panel, and gilt titling to the spine. As can be seen in the 3rd image, the cloth is worse onf the front lower spine/cover edge, and as can be seen in the 4th image, there is rubbing and chipping at the head of the spine. Previous owner's details in pencil on the front free end page. Light ageing of the page edges, and a 1.5 inch tear on the external edge of page 31/32. The American publication was called "the Sun Also Rises". As can be seen by the 1st image the book is a 1st impression, having the typographical error of "Stones" instead of the "Stories". Sinopsis

Fiesta: The Sun Also Rises tells the story of Jake Barnes, an expatriate living in Paris. He was wounded in World War I, and is now a journalist who spends his time drinking with other American expatriates.  The group of characters travel from Paris to Pamplona for the running of the bulls.
