Erasure mark on front free endpaper, light wear to edges and rear board, faint trace of occasional foxing, else this is a very good to near fine copy., In unclipped dustwrapper showing original $2.00 price. The dustwrapper has a small chip at bottom of spine, surface damage to rear panel,light wear to edges and folds. Overall a very good presentation of a scarce and early Bemelmans title which has apparently never been reprinted since this edition.
