Forty-first edition of this work. In prize binding awarded to J. C. B. Harbottle in 1888 for general proficiency. Rebound in half calf over marbled boards with five raised bands, decorations in gilt to back strip, marbled edges and endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, light rubbing to head and tail of spine and extremities. Prize bookplate to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
