Front endpapers are stained - there may have been newspaper pressed i there at one point but not there now. Previous owner bookplate on fep underneath dustjacket flap. 292 pages, some slightly yellowing, illustrated throughout with photos. DJ spine a bit sunned, a couple of small closed tears. Not price-clipped. For more than 50 years, author was a working newspaperman. Coming to Newport Beach California in 1921, he published the Newport News newspaper.. Illus. by photographs. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Very Good.
